Comp only gets one qualifying run at the World Finals.. I know it's a short field, but COME ON!!!

No Kidding!! Any out of Division racers who don't race there should not even bother to go to any of the future races. If you have no data, between the Vegas National and Pomona you have 3 qualifying runs.

It wouldn't be worth the trip in my book. Waste of time and money.

Feels like an index bashing kind of day today, its clear and cold at the world finals

Goes back to my earlier thread about car counts and Comp getting SCREWED out qualifying sessions. Why would you travel more than a few hours away KNOWING that if there's just a tiny fraction of a mishap in the schedule,Comp will lose a session. Like I said before; I know a few Comp racers who WILL NOT race at a National Event because of the way they are treated

Just for fun,I looked at the sheet and counted at least 13 comp cars who drove at least 16 hours to get there. Over half of those 13 are at least 24 hours away. And they show up and get 1 qualifying run......on a shi@@y track. Makes me sick.

The first round matchups is sick for a few . One car that I know of made a bad run in qf now in first round, instead of running a 55 under car you get a 65 under car . These comp cars need at least 2 runs even if you did make a good first pass .

Between travelling and index hits, it's costing some folks a lot of money.. especially if you really didn't get down in the one shot, and then have the weather get even better for first round..

And it kinda showed with 4 hits in the 1st rnd and some chunks of CIC going into the second..

Just from my viewpoint, not only is this a crock, but it's a mega crock.

Pomona was by far the hardest track I ever tried to tune to. Probably just my problem, but I can't imagine being limited to one hit and then being told to go out and race.

And then you have the thousands of miles for the tow...

Pomona is usually mineshaft , in November and February , but never seems to get those last few cars (top half) to -61 under. Last time we went , waited 4 days to get a run in.....cause it snowed , missed the mineshaft by 2 cars , went -64 under 1st rd. @ 150 , talk about sick , you got that right . Getting only 1 run is even sicker......
