Just read in my local newspaper obituaries that Div 3 Comp racer Nick age 66 has died no real details tho---Dick

That is very sad - I knew Nick very well & he was a great guy. Prayers to Nicks family.

This is bad news, he was one of comp`s very own family a racer and driver . He will be missed .

Talked with Nick at Joliet--goes to show you never know when it will be your time. We also just lost Tyler Gilman--an employee at Steve Schmidt's shop. Makes a bum day even worse.

Several years ago at Joliet I went up and introduced myself to Nick. Knowing he was from Elburn, I mentioned the Elburn Meat Market and we both smiled. If you ever visit you had better have a cooler. I will always remember my chat with him, very nice man.

This is really sad-we just raced Nick last month at Norwalk-our condolences to Nick's family.
