Koni Electric Shocks

First I would like to say Thanks to Will for getting this site up and running.
My Question is how much control voltage is necessary to activate the servo motors in a Koni 12-2021 electric rear shock. I just installed the new Koni/Msd # 1290001 shock controller on my Texas Pro Stock car and can't get the thing to work. The computer shows the shocks positions changing when initiated by the transbrake but I can't hear the shocks changing positions. I am only getting .5 volt change on the control wire from position 1 to position 4. I have 16 volts at the shock good grounds and everything wired up pretty straight forward. Oh I did find out you do not need to run a voltage reducer with this new control box. But I am starting to think to much voltage is binding the servo.
Please let me know what you think

answered my own question

Well Just to let you guy's know I found out that there is only a small voltage change as I eluded to in my question. The thing is you need to have every thing hooked up and load or amperage draw on the wires to initiate a position change on the shocks. Nobody wants to strip back a perfectly good wire but since I had no choice I did just that. I hooked up a good yellow shock control box and measured the voltage on the blue control wire. during position changes. Results were less than impressive. 15.86 volts at the battery at the time of the test Position 4 was 13.8 volts. Position 3 was 13.6 volts. Seein a .2 drop all the way down to position 1. The shock servo motors and rebound positions responded as the were supposed to work. Then I reconnected my new MSD/Koni multiplicited box to the shocks and ran through the same positions. Lo and behold same voltage drops for position changes. Only I still got a problem the shocks do not respond to the voltage change with the new box. Hmm houston we have a problem... Since I ain't no electrical engineer. I can only assume the new box is not initiating the change due to amperage. I can not condem the new box just yet. There has got to be something I am missing. For now I will reinstall the old box and send the new one back to Koni for testing.
