    Rocket block

Rumor has it (and I also read it somewhere) that Dart built the rocket block for GM. The rocket block and iron eagle are identical in specs as far as I can tell. Being they are both 4.4" bore spacing blocks, with Dart saying 4.185" is the largest recommended bore for the iron eagle, I'd say...

Hancock and Lane Racing parts sale

Jeff, I'm interested in your selection of 50mm cams for a SBC, but not for a SB2. Do you have any that are not SB2? If so, how can I get a peek at the specs? I'm looking for something in the 278-282 intake duration @ .050, 114 lobe separation, .485 -.490 lobe lift.

    Wanted sheet metal intake

Too bad you don't need an 18* intake for 9.0 deck. I have a Hogan loaded with new carbs, linkage, new regulator, new hoses and fittings, etc. You can have it with two new 750 Dominators or with two older BREs @ 1100 CFM. Or, you can have all four carbs with the package.

    8 3/4 pro gear

Heat the gears to take out the heat treatment, huh? Some say cryo them to make them stronger. I'd ask one of the gear manufacturers for the Rockwell hardness of a pro gear, then have a reputable machinist check the hardness of your "re-heated" standard gears to see if you get close to that...
