17 cars in comp is my prediction . I hope i am wrong need to have more at least 25 would look a lot better . But right now everthing is slow you could fire a cannon in our shop and not a car . It might be this way for a few years .

John this has to rate real high on the cool meter . Insted of posting that your car belongs in comp and why , you say you will sell it with a tuneup . As far as i know this is unheard of . Good job John i hope it sells in div 7 though i like reading about it more than racing against it .

Yep, took out 25 lbs of rotating weight out ,carbon fiber rotors tituiam studs newest lug nuts . No gain , let out 1/2 lb air press picked up .05 could have saved lots of money with a new tire press guage .

I bet is about saftey 1300 lbs over 170 mph not much stuck to the ground .

A lockup conveter for a dodge ram 350 weight is 90 lbs full of fluid . I know that the race car conveter wouldnt be that heavy , but it would be too heavy for what we are trying to do . It takes a lot of hp to turn 50 or so lbs 10,000 rpm and lots of time to get it there .

We have had .965 but we shoot for .9 anything . I am the most proud of that the car gets down without tire shake 99% of the time . If it gets out of the groove push in the clutch .

Its a 66 chevy 2 not real fast but runs dead on . The track was loose down track its has radials and started to woble after mid track . Just not worth running again .

Just alters and gas dragersts ; But they are real heavy hard on the crankshaft i thenk .

I belive that money will be paid to them guys or he will wind up in jail or both . I think it was a federal crime .

Thanks Tom , i am no hero just hopeng for a few more race seasons . The guys went to the track today for testing with a SS/JA car . I could`nt go i will be watching football and pulling for the 2 bird teams, last 2 games untill the superbowl game .

You wouldnt be able to run a comp race of today on that track . Some real good driving from both drivers . The starting line was the only good part of the run the higer hp car was all over the track .

I will be in Houston about then getting my lungs worked on at the V.A med center . Sure hope some good can come out of it , need more air flow .:eek:
