He was in the first pair out after a nighttime rain delay. I was in line behind him, and it made me sick to my stomach. The NHRA should have called it then, and they did call it after the accident. JMO Alan, everyone hopes you're OK. :(

Take a look at the Leatt Brace, which was recently approved by SFI. Unlike the original HANS, it does not have wires, cables and attachment hardware, and provides 360 degree neck protection. I like it better and would buy it, but it is not currently available in the US! Steve Holloway
