    Cylinder Heads

Was there a rule change pertaining to cylinder heads in B/ED and C/ED, or did I just imagine seeing something.. can those classes now use other than true wedge heads??

What happened at the SRAC meeting?

I understand the explanations I received, as well as their justifications.. still don't have a problem with it.. it just put me in the direction of SG.. I had no motor or trans in the car when I made the inquiry.. even brought the roller to a D1 race just to make sure..

What happened at the SRAC meeting?

Well Roger.. I tried to get my car into Comp, back in the day, and the powers to be in D1 determined that because the body style is actually the "AERO" type, it didn't fit into the Comp Roadster classes.. at the time, since it wasn't accepted in Street Roadster, I was told it would not be...

What happened at the SRAC meeting?

Thnx for the response, Brian.. I believe that this billet head issue should be addressed, as I'm pretty sure that "ALTERED" does actually mean "ALTERED".. and with billet heads being approved in some altered classes, what would the reasoning be for NOT ALL.. I'm not referring to Econo-Altered...

In search of a altered chassis builder?

I'd say that you might want to speak with a chassis builder who deals with a Funny Car chassis.. not knowing what you actually have in mind, my concern might be the weight..

In search of a altered chassis builder?

Contact Ken Keir Race Cars.. Ken has a 125" inch altered on the jig right now.. he has advertised that it's at the point of fitting a driver.. KKRC is a proven winner, and worth the call..

What happened at the SRAC meeting?

I believe that I'm understanding that this "Roadster" class would be for the SG type topless roadsters of today, as the 27 Ford Roadster style already fits into the Street Roadster classes, except mine wasn't allowed due to the "AERO" style body.. thus, the reason for being in SG.. Since the...

    ISO BBC Sheet Metal Intake

Thnx Larry.. I actually looked into that manifold.. looks really nice, BUT, even Holley admitted that it would not work well for my application, or drag racing in general.. thnx for the contact though.. Adger.. give me a call when you get a chance.. thnx Charlie

    ISO BBC Sheet Metal Intake

Thnx Adger.. I have an older Edelbrock Ram 2-R.. not good for my use, only rated for 7000 rpm.. I can use the new Edelbrock Tunnel Ram, or even the Pro-Filer, but I was hoping to find someone with a sheet metal manifold.. I'm thinking the cast manifold runners might be too long..

    P.I. C.I. Mineshaft

Your assumption is correct, Todd.. the person pictured to the left is looking at you, and even seems to be chuckling.. Hopefully, you will work in the best interests of Comp Eliminator, especially those card carrying Comp Eliminator racers in D1.. BUT, your earlier comment claiming to be...
